One of my favorites is about grandma's cookie jar. I have an old, vintage cookie jar I try (note..try) to keep cookies in for the grandkids and visitors. Right now it's empty, ha! But I will fill it up and watch as people lift the little chick lid to check it out. I just thought maybe some readers might enjoy old time poetry.<br />momBarb Leatherman (mom)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7197764805347549588.post-16578172051358904112012-05-04T12:28:13.599-05:002012-05-04T12:28:13.599-05:00Thanks, Connie! Thanks, Connie!Christina Lasswellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14814444192738330952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7197764805347549588.post-83452777345002440522012-05-04T11:34:51.596-05:002012-05-04T11:34:51.596-05:00Best wishes to you with your book, Christina! Dedicating it to your children expresses very strongly your love for them.Connie Arnoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06264510809220669622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7197764805347549588.post-62685227413865266402012-04-22T12:23:06.913-05:002012-04-22T12:23:06.913-05:00You are so right! It is discouraging every time I look to see if anyone is "visiting" my shop only to find one or maybe two. Then I look at other shops similar to mine and see all kinds of sales and might I add, higher prices and poor quality. I think, oh well, I'll keep on trying, mainly because as you said, it's the joy in the journey and I have fun doing what I do and have learned a lot! So you keep on too! love, momBarb Leathermanhttp://www.etsy.com/secondstorystitchesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7197764805347549588.post-61063618779135262332012-04-22T07:50:54.296-05:002012-04-22T07:50:54.296-05:00I see you found it under my WIP tab :0) I don'...I see you found it under my WIP tab :0) I don't have a "book" yet; it's still under construction.
